Story-Wide Yard Sale Set for Sunday, June 7

One of Story’s favorite annual traditions is back this Sunday, June 7, as the Story-Wide Yard Sale brings neighbors, visitors, and treasure hunters together for a fun day throughout the community.

The Story-Wide Yard Sale begins at 8:00 a.m. and will continue as late as each individual yard sale decides to stay open. Historically, this annual event has been held on the first Sunday of June, giving people a chance to head into Story, explore the community, and see what unique treasures can be found.

From household items and antiques to tools, décor, books, furniture, and unexpected finds, the Story-Wide Yard Sale is always a great opportunity to enjoy the day, visit with neighbors, and support local families.

Yard Sale Maps

Yard sale maps will be available for pickup beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Story Store. Maps will also be available mid-morning at Everett’s Tunnel Inn.

For those who prefer a digital version, the map will be available to download from the StoryWyoming.org homepage on Sunday morning.

The ATM at the Story Store will also be ready to go for anyone who needs cash before heading out to the sales.

Support the Story Volunteer Fire Department

While you’re out enjoying the yard sales, be sure to come hungry. The Story Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a fundraiser starting at 10:00 a.m., serving bison burgers and hot dogs.

This is a great way to grab lunch while supporting the local volunteer fire department and the men and women who serve the Story community.

With yard sales happening throughout Story, visitors may want to take a break along the way. Be sure to stop by Everett’s Tunnel Inn for food and drinks to keep you going.

Thanks to their generosity, the map fee to be included on the yard sale map was waived this year. Their sponsorship helped cover the printing costs for the maps and made it easier for more people in the community to participate.
