No photographer was present for the November meeting...so we'll share some BUFFALO HUNT photos with you. A buffalo hunt was donated by Millie & Gary Marquiss of the Little Buffalo Ranch in Gillette, WY. The Woman's Club raffled off 300 tickets and Mel Klaus was the lucky winner. His hunt was scheduled for late October, 2011. It was not exactly the ancient Indian method of hunting the buffalo, but it was exciting enough. Having modern equipment and some good hands to skin the buffalo was greatly appreciated. The meat is porcessed and in the freezers...yummy!! Thank you Gary & Millie along with all of you who bought tickets & hoped to win. It is truely "Good Eats!"
