JUST FOR FUN

What the heck is it #1?
See answers below.

Ok, all you sharpies out there.  This item was left behind by a previous Story home owner.  It is 24 " long, 11" side and weighs 8 pounds.

If you recognize it - by name or by use - email us with the answer to "just what the heck is it?"  If you have a guess as to it's purpose and nature email us that, also.  We'll put your "best guess" up on the site.

Send email to:  storywyoming@storywyoming.org

And the responses are:

Erick Fremstad, who just moved to Story, had on of those that I helped load onto his truck when he moved.  He said it was used to groom sheep.  Terrence A.

It’s what’s needed for use on a REALLY bad hair day when you’ve just had a perm.  PJG

We will be visiting Story with our 3 boys in August.  Coming from Washington DC gives us an  edge up on guessing - it is a tire slasher.  After you pull up to a parking garage to read the sign that says, "$30 for four hour parking" you are forced to enter because if you try to back out the item you now possess has popped out of the floor behind your car and will slash your tires.
Looking forward to our visit!

The object in question is a bonifide eyelash that used to belong to Tammy Faye Baker.  I once saw one of these while searching ebay.  It sold for a whopping $20.00.  You have a real find here.  To the right person I am sure you could market it for more.  TNT

This is a precious item and should not be used for fun as it a one of a kind!  Please take care of this unique piece and I must say, your have a real gem there!  Signed, Previous owner

This item is a custom made Thatcher attachment that connects to the rear of a power mower.  It will  remove dead grass and aerate the soil while mowing the lawn. NLF

The item on your website looks like a rake of some kind.  It resembles a smaller version of a “York” rake, used to level ground, ball fields, driveways, etc.  I will be visiting your town, actually staying in the campground, next week.  I am looking forward to it.  Can you tell me a good place to fly fish near Story?  Tim
