STORY FUEL BREAK |

the Story Fuel Break was taken in July of 2003 shortly after the fuel
break construction was started. This view shows how we used natural
breaks in the vegetation to enhance the effectiveness of the break. The
view is to the north towards the North Piney Creek Drainage. The picture
was taken from a helicopter that was here for the efforts to contain the
‘Ditch Creek Fire’, 4
miles west of Story. |
