The community of Story is located in the eastern area of the green shown above. The community of Banner in located in the orange area shown above. The Story Fire District is responsible for protection of the mountainous wooded terrain shown in green, the foothill grasslands shown in orange, and the 800 or so homes and related structures that lie within those boundaries.
